On the 9th September, 2025, the Youth Emancipation and Rehabilitation Foundation (YERFng) welcomed the Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research (NISER) team at their Umuahia Branch Office in Okaiuga Nkwoegwu as part of their regional research initiative, “Youth in Indigenous Enterprises in the Informal Economy in Africa”.
The project, supported by the Mastercard Foundation, explores how youth-led indigenous enterprises in textiles, agro-based ventures, cosmetics/beauty, and crafts contribute to economic growth.
This collaboration will strengthen our commitment to advancing youth entrepreneurship and contributing to policies that create dignified and fulfilling work opportunities for African youths.
